Daniel is a Computational Biologist with experience in sequence and microarray analysis. He is a member of the Structural Computational Biology Group at CNIO since 2007. Since then, he has been working closely with the Bioinformatics Unit, under the supervision of David G. Pisano. Part of his job is to help other (bench-friendly) biologists to analyse their high throughput data, mainly expression, aCGH and SNP arrays. He also participates as a teacher in different courses on Microarrays and Genomics organized by the Bioinformatics Unit.

Daniel is specially interested in understanding how genomic copy number in changes affect tumor biology. He is a member of the developer team of waviCGH, a web server for the analysis of copy number data. See waviCGH at: http://wavi.bioinfo.cnio.es
